Description
Magí Bonet is the name of one of the few artisans who still handcrafts
the famous sandal known as “abarca”, a shoe that has
a peasant origin and has been parading down the most famous
fashion catwalks for several years now. Everyone, adults and children, wears it everywhere,
to parties, in the countryside or on the beach… Magí is also a great master
of esparto grass. Let’s visit him in his small workshop in Ciutadella.
